Reservation cancellation policies
At the chalet, we require all members offering units available for booking through the website to choose one of three cancellation policies for each unit they list on our website or mobile app. The policy selected by the unit owner outlines the terms and rules governing the relationship between the owner (as the property owner) and the tenant in the event of the tenant canceling their reservation, ensuring the rights of both the owner and the tenant are protected. Cancellation policies are part of the general terms of use of our website or mobile app, and by booking through the site or app, the visitor implicitly agrees to the website's terms, policies, and the applicable cancellation policy for the listed unit. The cancellation policy is essentially a legal agreement that outlines the rights and obligations of each party. The cancellation policy is divided into three types as follows: Strict Cancellation Policy: The reservation cannot be canceled under any circumstances. If the tenant cancels the reservation, they are responsible for the full amount of the booking and no refund will be issued, even partially. Flexible Cancellation Policy: Cancellation is allowed at least 15 days before the reservation date. If the reservation is canceled 15 days or more in advance, half of the paid amount will be refunded after deducting fixed charges. Standard Cancellation Policy: Cancellation is allowed at least 15 days before the reservation date. If the reservation is canceled 15 days or more in advance, the full paid amount will be refunded after deducting fixed charges. In all of the above policies, the following conditions apply: The administrative fees charged at the time of booking are non-refundable. The tenant is responsible for any transfer fees incurred when refunding the amount. The fixed charges mentioned in the policies above are the administrative fees and transfer fees, as mentioned in the previous sections. The booking amount will be refunded after deducting administrative fees, transfer fees, and the applicable deduction based on the cancellation policy applied to the unit, as detailed in each policy. We may modify the site's policies at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the site constitutes implicit agreement to any changes In site policies
